Trust then verify, verify then trust
This thesis addresses the rise of fake news among young people, aiming to raise awareness and encourage critical thinking about the news they consume. Through research, it was found that young people often encounter misleading information and are losing trust in news sources. The Verify, then trust concept uses gamification and peer education to help students assess news credibility in an engaging, interactive format.
